is sawan da me ki karna,
jadd yaar sanam mere kol nahin,
vaang tejaab mera dil sadda,
akkhan vich hanjuah di thod nahin,
is chandani raat da me ki karna,
jadd mera chann mere kol nahin,
jadd yaar sanam mere kol hove,
te menu is sawan di lod nahin.
What i have to do with this sawan (the month of rains), when my beloved is not with me,my heart burns like acid, and there is no limit of tears in my eyes,what i have to do with these full moon nights, when my moon(Beloved) is not with me,when my Beloved is with me, i dont need this month of sawan.
